You will be building a leading fintech product across South-East Asia on an international & diverse team. What will you be doing? - Communicate effectively in English across Engineering, Product, UX teams on daily basis - Design, develop and maintain cutting edge web-based applications - Make and help managers make decisions about priorities, timelines and chosen design approach - Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
Required Skills and Experience
We're looking for strong A players with a good pedigree or past companies (hi-tech, start-up, fintech), deeply technical, hands-on, and analytical & problem-solving skills. - Graduated with a Computer Science degree with 4 to 8 years of working experience in a software engineering role (mostly backend experience and some experience with Frontend and DevOps are desired) - Preferably growing start-up with strong tech focussed only. Giant tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Zomoto etc, not TCS, Wipro etc. - Experience in prestigious pedigree (top-tier colleges) or distinguished companies (leading small companies or start-ups) - Proficient in PHP and using it to develop a product from scratch - Strong Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation - Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns - Code Quality: Strong understanding of code quality and best practices, and ability to ensure code quality in the work. - Code Review: Ability to review code, identify bugs, and provide feedback to ensure code quality standards are met. - Unit Testing and Integration Testing: Experience in writing and executing unit tests and integration tests as well as debugging skills. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve complex issues. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment. - Strong communication skills and collaboration skills
