(https://techcrunch.com/2021/06/09/seoul-based-ringle-raises-18m-series-a-for-its-one-on-one-english-tutoring-platform/) VP of BD of Vietnam will play a key role in leading Ringle’s business development effort in Vietnam, collaborating closely with a variety of functions (UX/UI, developer, content, and marketing) of Ringle’s global organization. This role will also be responsible for end-to-end business operations such as launching new products, developing customer base, and managing the day-to-day operation of the business in Vietnam. production and distribution of a business’s products or services in Vietnam. This role will be directly reporting to the Head of Ringle’s Global / B2B team. Primary responsibility includes: - Developing go-to-market strategy for Ringle’s products for teens and adults in Vietnam - Developing / executing the outreach plan to B2B and B2C customers, leveraging the networking capability - Identifying the areas for product localization and coordinating the implementation of the changes - Defining the the scope of priority marketing needs essential for BD efforts, and overseeing the execution of the tasks - Setting up the team in Vietnam to support the BD efforts - Delivering the financial / strategic goals of Vietnam
- Native in Vietnamese and fluent in English - Business consultant (Mckinsey,...), ex-consultant from big firms, investment banker,... - Used to work Edtech startups such as ELSA,... - 7 years or more experience in sales / business development (preferably in education) - Or 3-5 years or more experience in management consulting or investment banking - Book smart “AND” street smart - Self-starter - Strong communication skills - Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty - Ability to travel 20-30% of time (primarily between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi)
