Job Overview And Responsibility

What is Guzzle Guzzle is data integration workbench that automates the movement and transformation of data. It allows to easily create, deploy, and monitor data pipelines consisting of ingestion, processing, reconciliation, data quality and house-keeping activities. Enterprise grade Auditability, Governance, Traceability, Provenance and Lineage /metadata 7. Deeper support for DevOps – has out of box integration with Git (and git workflows), test-automation and auto-deployment 8. Leverages best of breed open source components Job Scope Guzzle Support Engineer you will enable our customers to be successful with deployment and implementation of Guzzle by resolving critical technical issues that come from customers as well as the frontline consulting team implementing Guzzle. You will be the technical bridge between the frontline consulting or customers directly and the engineering (Development) team, thereby becoming the first line of defense for engineering. You will ensure that all issues are analyzed by you before it reaches the engineering team. Along with this you will also ensure that the support team stays updated doing technical trainings and building knowledge based of common issues programs. Job Responsibilities - Troubleshoot, resolve and if required suggest code-level analysis of Guzzle code to address customer issues (both simple and complex) related to Guzzle core, Apache Spark and including core and third party connectors used by Guzzle, Guzzle configs and SQL, connectors (which are file based, - Provide best practices guidance as well as suggest appropriate programming usage Guzzle job types, source connector and APIs for Guzzle deployment on Cloud and on-premise - Build detailed troubleshooting guides, runbooks/how-to and FAQs to enhance the efficiency of the overall support team. - Contribute to automation and tooling initiatives to make day to day troubleshooting effective, consistent, and efficient. - Liaise with the Guzzle’s Engineering Team within Just Analytics and ensure that the support team is aware of upcoming features and releases. - Proactively reach out to the front-line team members and provide technical assistance to long running customer cases. - Deliver proactive suggestions for improving Guzzle core for both functionality and performance and efficiency in customer-specific environments - Assist in doing required performance benchmark of Guzzle platform for required use cases and file the test scripts and results in - Where possible pinpoint specific areas of the Guzzle code base that are being affected by known bugs and try to suggest possible workarounds. - Progressively strengthen your understanding of the entire Guzzle code base and work towards becoming Guzzle contributor. - Demonstrate true sense of ownership and coordinate with engineering and product management teams to achieve timely resolution of customer issues and requests - Be a team player and coach other team members as needed

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 4 years’ experience designing, developing, testing, and maintain Python or Java or Scala based applications required. Intermediate level knowledge in either Java or Scala is desired. - High level understanding of the Apache Spark is desired. - Knowledge of ETL or data integration tools (either on-premise or SaaS) is desired - Hands on experience in either of Big Data/Hadoop/Spark/Kafka/Hive is desired. - Intermediate Linux/Unix administration skills are required. - Candidates must possess good written and oral communication skills. - Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly those that apply to a “Distributed Big Data Computing” environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
